Intelligent recommendations for what to work on next
What It Does
Suggestions are proactive task recommendations generated by your AI team. Each one includes a team member attribution, task title, description, reasoning, and recommended phase and priority. Accept to create as a task, or dismiss if not relevant.
How Suggestions Are Generated
AI-Powered Analysis
When you click the refresh button (or Generate Suggestions), Claude analyses your project:
- Current tasks and their statuses
- Progress by phase (which phases need attention)
- Business plan coverage (which sections are missing)
- UK Innovator Founder Visa requirements (innovation, scalability, viability)
- Timeline and target date (if set)
Claude then recommends 2-4 high-impact tasks, assigning each to the most appropriate team member.
Heuristic Fallback
If AI generation is unavailable, the system uses built-in rules to identify common issues:
Stale Tasks
Tasks in "Working" for more than 3 days without updates
Empty Phases
Project phases with no tasks created yet
Low Progress
Overall completion below 25% with many tasks
Missing Deliverables
Completed tasks that have no linked deliverables
How to Use It
Viewing Suggestions
- 1Look for the Suggestions badge in the header — it shows the count of active suggestions
- 2Click the badge to open the Suggestions Panel — each card shows the team member, title, priority, phase, and an expandable "Why?" section
Accepting a Suggestion
- 1Click Accept on a suggestion card
- 2A new task is created with all suggested fields (title, description, phase, priority, team member)
- 3The task appears on the Kanban board in the "To Do" column
Dismissing a Suggestion
If a suggestion is not relevant to your project:
- 1Click Dismiss — the suggestion is hidden from the active list
- 2It will not reappear on future refreshes
Refreshing Suggestions
Click the refresh icon in the Suggestions Panel header to generate new suggestions based on the current project state. Previously dismissed suggestions will not return. If the panel is empty, a "Generate Suggestions" button appears in the centre.
The Suggestion Badge
Active Count
Shows the number of non-dismissed suggestions
Team Member Icon
Displays the first suggestion's team member when suggestions exist
Empty State
Shows a lightbulb icon when no suggestions are available
Toggle Action
Click to open or close the Suggestions Panel
Tips
- Generate suggestions after major progress — refresh after completing several tasks to get updated recommendations
- Accept suggestions you agree with — it is faster than creating a task manually, and the AI fills in sensible defaults
- Dismiss freely — dismissed suggestions do not come back, so clear anything that does not apply to your project
- Check suggestions when stuck — if you are unsure what to work on next, the AI team can point you in the right direction
- Read the "Why?" — the reasoning often highlights visa requirements or gaps you might not have considered
